Founder & CEO, Jaytra Survival Shelters
Jaytra Survival Shelters was founded by Jit Kairi — an engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, structural construction, and high-reliability infrastructure execution.
Raised in a structural metal fabrication family business established in 1993, Jit gained early exposure to structural materials, fabrication processes, and real-world engineering environments. This foundation shaped an execution-first mindset — one focused on material integrity, structural durability, and the kind of safety-critical thinking that conventional construction rarely demands.
Recognising the complete absence of serious private survival infrastructure in India, he established Jaytra to develop high-security protective structures using an engineering-first approach — aligned with global protective infrastructure standards rather than conventional construction practices.

Jaytra is built on engineering execution — not sales. Our team brings hands-on experience across structural fabrication, civil engineering, and high-reliability construction environments. Every project is approached as a site-specific engineering challenge, with structural calculations, soil analysis, seismic considerations, and systems integration performed individually for each client.
Our operational model combines in-house structural expertise with vetted European and American defence-grade component suppliers. We do not resell foreign products. We integrate proven life-safety technologies into custom-engineered structural shells built for Indian soil, climate, and regulatory conditions.
Project execution follows a disciplined six-phase process — confidential consultation, geotechnical evaluation, engineering development, precision fabrication, installation and commissioning, and long-term support. Every phase is documented. Every deliverable is engineered. Every handover includes family training and ongoing maintenance programming.
